Learn Mindfulness in Leigh on Sea
“I can’t explain how much I’ve enjoyed this course. I’ve found it helpful in many areas of my life. Most dramatic of these is my sleeping which has been awful prior to starting, but it’s consistently so much better when using the body scan at bedtime.”

What Is Mindfulness?
Mindfulness means paying full attention to the present moment, without judging what we find.
When we do this, we might notice a number of benefits:
More Joy
When we step out of our mental 'autopilot' and notice what is already here, we can be surprised by the richness of each moment.
Improved Health
Our nervous system learns to rest, lowering blood pressure, improving our immune system and raising levels of mood enhancing serotonin.
Self Acceptance
We learn to watch our natural thoughts and feelings without over reaction. In this way, we come to see ourselves as we really are.
Greater Clarity & Focus
As we begin to train our wandering mind, we're more able to bring our attention to whatever is important.
Greater Calm & Ease
We learn the skill of relaxation. We discover how our breath can be used to build a true sense of resilience.
Less Stress
We learn the source of stress in our lives and develop simple strategies to manage it.
